"You may not be able to be hot when you're seventy-five in a conventional sense. Like, young people won't think you're hot. But your husband will, and so will people your own age."
- Paris Hilton

I found this quote on my myspace that I posted agess ago,
I still think it's actually quite clever!
YOU'RE BREAKING MY HEART AND YOU DON'T EVEN REALISE.

Who can resist a pair?

this just made my day.

Tell me what you think.

I'm considering making another blog. I'll keep this one of course, I'll just make another one. My reasoning is because I blog ALOT about fashion/fashion photography and it is not balanced with the rest of my posts, and I love balance. My new blog would be completely about fashion and this blog would be everything else. Or i could just keep on blogging about fashion, and have unbalance? yes?

What do you think? Should I?

My New Favorite Photographer

Wanna Be on Top?

So Freddie and I have decided to audition for Australia's Next Top Model 2010. Although she is leaving to Denmark in June and filming starts in May, and I am 5 foot 7 and that's pretty short for modelling. Shit. Oh well, we'll do fantastic! and we'll have fun auditioning.

You are my everything. Now I'm thinking I'm not your everything.
I think I've been replaced since I left to america.
She's perfect. The girl who is replacing me.
Beautiful, funny, nice. Fucking bitch.
Please don't forget about me.
The one who goes out of her way to talk to you,
Buy you presents, Trys to make you happy in every way possible.
The one who loves you.
Don't take that away from me,
by disregarding me for someone new.
Please let this work out. I don't know how I would survive without you.
*There is no photograph for this post,
I couldn't find anything that displayed my thoughts and feelings.

I'm Dreaming of a...

Today is Christmas Eve/Daddy's Birthday, and tomorrow is Christmas Day!
This year for Christmas, although I am away from everyone,
I will have a wonderful Christmas.
I am waking up bright and early, packing my presents in a bag,
throwing on 5 layers of clothing, and driving a few hours to Big Bear,
so I can have a White Christmas.
There will be skiing, snowman making, snowball fighting, snow angel crafting,
hot chocolate drinking and present opening!
I am oh-so-excited!
I hope your christmas will be/is being as fantastic as this.
i just love this photograph.

The Bald Eagle and the Kangaroo

There once was a bald eagle from America,
that was flying through the clear blue sky,
when it got lost, and ended up in Australia.
But as it landed it tumbled and broke its wing.
A kangaroo found it, picked it up and carried it in its pouch,
until it got better.
The eagle thanked the kangaroo and flew back home.
Until they met again.
In their next life they were re incarnated into people who loved to sing and dance.
They met again on broadway. The re incarnated eagle played Beauty and
the re incarnated kangaroo played the Beast, in the broadway production of,
you guessed it Beauty and the Beast.

The eagle is otherwise known as Amanda,
and the kangaroo is also called Lauren.
This story was created by Amanda and Lauren in Government today.
This will happen someday.

Tis The Season

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!Vixen!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
I'm Feeling Festive at the moment.
So I thought I'd give you the words to my favorite christmas poem,
and yes, I know it off by heart!

Will It Ever Be The Same?

I re-read the first letters you sent to me when I left.
Why? I don't know. It was so stupid.
It just made me miss you more than I already do.
You were so loving and then. You just stopped.
And haven't talked to me since.
I want to come home and I'm so excited!
But I don't want to come home anymore,
just because I'm scared you won't want me
like you used to.
I am heartsick over you.
Why can't you understand that?

At 4pm today, it was pitch black and raining. I loved it.

Prayer of the Selfish Child

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
And If I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my toys to break.
So none of the other kids can use ‘em.
Amen.

By The Great Poet,
Shel Silverstein

My Perfect Day.

As I sit on Nancy's couch, covered in blankets,
pillows behind my back and head,
spoon in one hand, ice cream bucket in the other.
Listening to the rain outside,
and watching 'How to Lose a Guy in 1o Days,'
(I call this multitasking)
facebook, blogger and
the temple of hera blogspot is on my laptop screen
(I call this extreme multitasking).
I realise i'm in complete solitude.
By myself.
Everyone is out.

If you had been in my position for the last 5 months,
you would understand,
this does not happen very often here.
Infact this hasn't happen pretty much at all!
I forgot how much I love sitting by myself
once and a while, without interuptions,
yelling in the background, or children (or adults)
asking "Whose that in those photos?"
(on my facebook screen) or
"Oh what are you doing? Can I see?"
If you know me well you would know,
I hate when people look over my shoulder when i'm doing something,
or people that don't understand the word, privacy.

But today. Is. Perfect.
I hope it stays that way.

I would really like to have this skirt! I love me a sequin...

Je Suis Une Dolly

I am loving this song, it is called Je Suis Une Dolly
and its by the British Band The Dolly Rockers.
One night and we're all alone
Sat there waiting by the phone,

Got to get all dressed up on my own,

Got to get myself to a hot spot

It looks nice and Parisian
A little bar full of married men
So ooh la la Here we go again
I'll be staying out til God knows when

Coz I can get a bit wild on a holiday
Got nowt to loose in the Moulin Rouge and we'll flash our pants when we Can Can
Coz I can get a bit wild on a holiday
Is it déja vu that I'm here with you?
Gonna get an eyeful

Je suis une dolly in my St. Tropez
Have a little dance avec moi touché
Voulez vous you buy the Chardonnay
Have a little drink and laugh with me tonight
Oh oh oh
Think I'm in love again
With a tall dark man who's 6ft 10
Speaks with an accent now and then
And drives around in a Citroen

Lights on and it's time to roam
He looks more like a garden gnome
With his platform shoes and a shiney dome
His hands look French but their Roman

Coz I can get a bit wild on a holiday
Got nowt to loose in the Moulin Rouge and we'll flash our pants when we Can Can
Coz I can get a bit wild on a holiday
Is it déja vu that I'm here with you
Gonna get an eyeful

Je suis une dolly in my St. Tropez
Have a little dance avec moi touché
Voulez vous you buy the Chardonnay
Have a little drink and laugh with me tonight
Je suis une dolly in my St. Tropez
Have a little dance avec moi touché
Voulez vous you buy the Chardonnay
Have a little drink and laugh with me tonight

Oi What you doing tomorrow night?
Might go down the High Street to the Moulin Rouge for a beer do you fancy it?
Give you a call about 9 then?
Oh oh oh (Si Si) Oh oh oh (oui oui) Oh oh oh (Mais oui)
Oh oh oh (Si Si) Oh oh oh (oui oui) Oh oh oh (Mais oui)
Je suis une dolly in my St. Tropez
Ave a little dance avec moi touché
Voulez vous you buy the Chardonnay
Have a little drink and laugh with me tonight

Mmm I Want Some'a That!

Freddie just informed me about the fashion label ELLERY.. i think i'm in love.
why are you so exxpensive miss ellery?

You Don't Belong Here!

In 2000 George. W. Bush was elected the President of The United States of America.
This election was very, very, close, and Bush was up against candidate, Al Gore.
The final votes were decided on the residents of the state of Florida.
Then in 2004 George. W. Bush was elected again for his second and final term.
Later in the year of this term, it was discovered that Bush had cheated his way into presidency in his first term, by changing the votes without anyone, except his collegues, knowing.
Bush was neither impeached or dissmissed as president. Why is this?
You would think when someone is found to have not actually won the
votes of the citizens of America, they would be dissmissed.
Have you ever thought about that? Or did you know any of this?
Over 8 years the U.S.A. was sent to war, attacked by terrorists
and controlled by a President who was not even elected by the people.
He was not wanted nor chosen! Why was he not kicked out?
What is wrong with the Government of America?!

Will They Ever Tell? What Will Come of It?

i'll keep that in mind.

What Did She Say?

There are alot of different types of people in the world. Of course if I named them, I would most likely be stereotyping, as no two people are ever exactly the same. If you consider yourself to be 'normal' and a bit of a 'floater,' like me, you are quite a friendly person, who has lots of different 'types' of friends from different cliques. But I guess no one ever really knows what 'type' they are. If you are popular -by definition meaning liked by all - you may actually be hated by many. Or if you consider yourself to be a 'clown' people may think you are just a showoff, who is vain, as well as loud and abnoxious. Even if you don't think of yourself as any having an label, different people will still atatch a label to you, depending on their own label. And then there are those who - no matter what 'type' they are - judge others on who they seem to be, whether they are actually like that or not. You always know that one person who says "Oh, I don't talk behind people's backs." But will then go on to talk about how Gertrude Wilson (a fake name of course) is a bitch because she does. But let me ask this question to all 5, give or take, of you reading this, isn't that talking behind someone's back? Isn't she doing the exact thing she just said she never does? There is no such thing as someone who does not, at some point in their life, talk about someone behind their back. No matter what clique belong to, or what label they have been given (by themself or their peers). Why is it such a big deal when someone discovers they have been spoken about without their knowledge? Because chances are, when they find out, they themself will do the exact same thing to the person they have just accused. Why do people seem so shocked when they have overheard people talking about them? Everyone does it, whether they mean to or not, some people are just more upfront about it. The next time you get angry when someone talks about you behind your back, don't get pissed off. You do it too! Infact be thankful you are interesting enough to be a topic of conversation.
