Last night a few of us watched Across the Universe.

I lovelovelove this movie and one of the things that makes me love it so much is the music. The entire soundtrack is music from The Beatles, and the music creates the storyline of the movie. The whole night I sung along, and this morning I woke up still singing their music.

Mark Darcy

The other day I was watching Bridget Jones' Diary, the first one, and towards the middle of the movie Mark Darcy tells Bridget he loves her just the way she is.

I adore this line.

To me the only thing you can ask someone to love you for, is for that exact reason.

We all have our little bad habits and things that we try and hide from the one we care for so they don't get turned off and leave, we all try to look our best for them so they don't think we are some hideous creature, even if we have just woken up. But to be loved for everything you do, everything you look like and such, is the only thing one can ask for. We want to be able to be ourselves and not have to hide or fake who we are, and by having someone love us 'just the way we are' makes everything that little bit easier, and then creates more happiness.

Thank you Mark Darcy for loving Bridget just the way she is.

It's the only thing she (and we) could have asked for.

I haven't blogged in a while. Pretty much a month. I haven't really thought of anything that interested me enough/I didn't have time to blog.

But while sitting by myself on a rainy day I decided to go through other peoples blogs, and I've come to the conclusion that most blogs (or at the least the ones I read) have to go about either fashion or love. When reading one blog post in particular I thought the main focal point of the post would be about 'why do we need a partner?' It ended up being about something equally as interesting, but I kept coming back to that question.

In our society today, most people believe the end of their life, or when they finish searching, is when they are settled down with their life partner, retired, and happy.

But why do we think we need a partner? Are people afraid to be alone? Yes of course some people don't particularly care about having a partner, but the majority of us do.

Apart from finding your dream job, or at least one that pays well and makes you happy, and finding your partner, what else do people aspire to have? What else do we need at the end of our life?

I find people focus too much on love.

Love does makes us happy, but is there really nothing else that we crave?

Let Me Look At Your Pretty Face.

There is something interesting about taking a photo with someone else's face covering yours. People may have different reasons as to why they do this. I do it because i think its funny, if you place it face in the perfect place it makes you do a double take, because you know something is weird, but it takes you a while to figure out what. Some people do it to hide their face if they are self conscious, others to see what they'd look like if something was changed. But no matter what reason, it's always funny to see the photo.

Lourdes is growing up to be alot like her mother.

In Madonna's recent film clip, Lourdes dresses up like her mother from her 80's film clip, 'Like a Virgin', and mayI say. GOD SHE IS IDENTICAL TO HER! Except for her skin colour of course...

Although I like lourdes alot more! Her fashion sense is just wow! Go look her up.

Just Breathe...

There is a line that I say in the school musical which I believe everyone should apply to their lives. "We can't live a life of hate." - What very wise words.

At the moment, everyone is stressed, tired and sick, and I think we are taking every little thing, said or done, to heart. We all need to relax. We don't need more drama, we don't need more rumors, we don't need more anger. Frankie says relax! Just breathe. Take one day at a time. Don't let the little things get to you. Don't overreact. Don't complain. Don't hate.

Don't worry. Be Happy.

Speaking of Wigs... Our wigs for musical are interesting...
we have to put our hair in pin curls then in little 20's style bobs,

I just found out today I have an english assessment on wednesday the 24th of March.
which I would be fine with if it weren't for the fact that we have an all day musical rehearsal on the 23rd of March. And opening night is on the 24th of March...

the same day as the assessment.

Well I saw Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland 3D last night.

My opinion?

Well if you care...

I found it really good! I had heard various mixed reviews,

Scary, shit, amazing, not scary, epic... The lists goes on.

Well I loved all of it.. Oh wait.

Except for the parts when that fucking mouse decided to stab someones eyes out.

I swear that happened like 5 times..

If you know me. I hate eyes.

So if you plan on seeing it (which i recommend) and if you hate eyes (like me)

look away whenever that mouse has a sword.
